Witty Kiddies Upper Norwood caters to children ages 6mths – 5years. We are open 50 weeks of the year.

We are situated in St Mary’s Family Centre which is on the site of the Convent of Our Lady of Fidelity which is secure and safe. It is just off central hill and is a 15-minute walk from Crystal Palace where there are many bus services. The following buses directly pass Hermitage road: 196, 249,417,432,450, and 468. Both West Norwood and Gipsy Hill Rail Stations are within walking distance.

Our Nursery benefits from a large hall with a high ceiling that is naturally lit, warm and welcoming.

We also have the added benefit of a large garden, a gigantic sandpit, a summer house, and lots of other resources that provide amazing outdoor learning opportunities throughout the year.

Our children who attend Witty Kiddies fly in excellence throughout the time spent with us, supported by qualified, dedicated, and passionate staff.

We offer places for the 15 and 30-hour funding for 2,3 and 4 years old.

Witty kiddies in Upper Norwood has a group of very dedicated group of people working towards looking after our little one well. They have the right skills of people caring there, play materials , food which is loved by my little girl. We have recommended to our friends to send their kids as well here. They do funding hours of 30and 15 hours. Mon-Fri 9 to 3 which has helped with our working hours too.

The nursery provides a very warm and welcoming environment for the kids and families, the staff are professional, caring, and attentive to the children's need. Shirley, the nursery manager is great, always friendly, helpful and very flexible. My daughter loves this nursery, she is always very happy to go in. She is in preschool group and she really likes her teacher Miss Natoya.

Witty Kiddies is a wonderful nursery, the staff treat my children beautifully. They are caring and compassionate, and very flexible (different start/finish times with corresponding rates). If the kids are starting to become unwell they are looked after like a mother would do, extra cuddles and a pragmatic approach- doesn’t feel like you’re talking with a bouncer. I truly feel they treat my children as individuals and communicate well with me and my husband.We moved from another nursery which were very rigid with implementation of their free hours (another plus for witty kiddies) and had an awful staff turnover. Couldn’t be happier with the change, been here for 2 years and all the staff are the same, with every member of the team a real asset. They seem to constantly strive to improve the setup. Fantastic management, fantastic nursery!

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 9 months and we have been very happy. They have been so supportive, flexible and lovely. Shirley, the nursery manager is a superstar and has always been very good at identifying what support and care my daughter has needed at different stages of her development. Now at 3.5 years my daughter is in preschool group which has been great in preparing her for reception next year and she really likes her teacher Miss Natoya. Can absolutely recommend this small but very good nursery!

I was recommended this nursery from other locals here in Crystal Palace and I am so happy we ended up choosing this place. Shirley, the manager, is great at her job and very friendly and helpful. The staff are caring and attentive to the individual need, I see this with my son whom they help with his aversion to messy play. My son has attended this nursery from when he was 1 and he is now 2.They teach the children independence, taking off their shoes themselves etc. and I simply love this.They are also very flexible, understanding and supportive, taking the time to tell you about how the day went.My son loves coming to this nursery and never even looks back when I drop him off 😅
